"This is really good if you're dry, mature skin, but I never recommend it to oily combo skin or anyone in tropical weather, only for dry, mature or really dry skin. I'd give Laneige Cream Skin more points because when you buy it they give you a mist to go with it, which is great, so after you dry your face in the shower you can use the mist so your skin doesn't stay dry."

"This started the cream skin category of milky toners. Between all the milky toners, this one is heavy too, similarly heavy to the others. Other fellow makeup artists in younger age groups said this feels too stuffy for them. I'd recommend it in winter for anybody who feels really dry, but other than that I just don't recommend it, you'll feel like it's already too much before you even put on moisturizer. If you buy the new version they give it to you with a mist, and that mist works so well. If you layer it two or three times you can basically skip your serum and just go with a light moisturizer. It works like a toner and a serum hybrid. They use BTS Jin as the model for it, which makes it a little more expensive because of that."

"The packaging says it's for dry sensitive skin, but I don't really think so. It's a little smooth to apply, a bit thicker in consistency, but it sinks into the skin really well and isn't a heavy balm. If you have combo skin that gets oily outside but feels tight and dry in winter, you can definitely try this. It's worth trying, but I'm a little skeptical. If your skin barrier is a real emergency right now I think you'd need a product made for dry skin instead. But for everyday use, no problem at all."

"This is the Atobarrier 365 Cream, for dry sensitive skin, and it was the number one moisturizer at Olive Young in 2020 out of fifty or seventy moisturizers on the shelf. It says it's for dry sensitive skin but it's actually not super heavy, you can control the amount and use the whole system if you're dry, and there's a lotion version in the same line that's more watery if you find the cream too heavy. I tested it with two other makeup artists and we all gave this the top tier rating, so it's definitely worth trying."

"The Aestura Atobarrier Cream doesn't show up much in the summer rankings because it's really for dry sensitive skin. It has capsules in it, but once you rub it in it just sinks into your skin. If a gel moisturizer or another affordable product isn't working for you when your skin feels dry, try this, especially if you have thin skin, because a gel type is too light, it evaporates and lets wrinkles show. This one is a lot thicker, it's my go to product, but in summer it feels too heavy, so they also make a lotion in the same line that's a little more watery, you can try that instead in summer."

The main ingredients are ceramide, cholesterol and fatty acid, which are the core components of your skin barrier, they come in capsules that melt down when you massage it in. Compared to the other products this one is a lot more of a daily moisturizer, but it still feels a bit oily for oily skin, so except for oily and acne prone skin, I recommend it for the daily moisturizer to also keep your skin barrier."

"Aestura is number one here in Korea and number one on Amazon too, everybody knows it if you're even a little into K-beauty. It's a light gel cream that stretches, though the lid is so big it gets messy as soon as you open it. If you have dry, mature skin, in winter just pass, it doesn't work at all for you. If you have oily or combo skin you have to be able to withstand a sticky formulation, you'll want something fresher. It has small grains in it that melt in quickly when you apply it, just make sure to press it in gently or the grains can remain. It's great to apply before makeup or at night and works well for most people, I've used it for a long time."

"For the face, this one feels a lot better, softer, and spreads well. I tried using it half and half with another cream and this one was a little more moisturizing. I have used it for more than three years, I test so many different products and I feel this one is really effective. It has become so popular, Estra has many different lines and products, but this is the number one repurchase product, definitely worth the hype. If your skin stinks no matter what you do, if it feels like it is breaking out too much, if your skin barrier is damaged, this is the one you should try. It has a little oil in it and an ingredient that helps reconstruct your skin barrier, it contains ceramide, cholesterol, and squalane. You can also try it at night in winter, just do not tap it on too much since it is very thick, make sure to spread it and let it absorb. A few reviews say their pores get a little bumpy after using it, but I do not think that is the product's fault, you can also put it on your neck for a massage since it feels so soft and it is definitely moisturizing well."

"This cream is so famous it used to only be used by dermatologists, but a few years ago they released it in the market and now it's popular, I use it in my classes a lot. It has a thick texture with capsules in it, so make sure to rub it in enough and it melts and makes things really hydrating. When you apply products from this heavier set it's a bit oily and sticky, you can't help but feel it, but among moisturizers in this category, this one is relatively easy to use."

Come with me to the largest beauty health store in Korea, in their huge COSRX section you only see the famous vitamin C serum and the propolis line, snail is nowhere. This does not moisturize long enough, it is only okay for oily skin but it is too sticky, so who is going to use this. Vegan snail was popular ten years ago, in my mom's generation. It got popular again because it works well for a short TikTok style video, but that is it."

"345 is definitely the winner, I also put this in my moisturizer tier list video, and I tested it with my makeup artist friends and a lot of them love it because it feels like a really nice cream texture that just goes into your skin so well, pretty good moisturizer for everyday, amazing. But I think some of the ingredients are there for barrier strengthening, it has maybe a little silicone layer, so it feels a little stuffy, and other makeup artists said the same thing. If your skin barrier is really bad and red, this isn't the product for you, but for an everyday moisturizer it's a lot better."

"This is so huge on TikTok as a barrier cream, just like Estra, if your skin feels like it is not working at all, if it is damaged so bad, they say this works pretty good. They named it 345 cream because they put three blemish relief ingredients, four nourishing ingredients like ceramide and panthenol, and five soothing ingredients like hyaluronic acid and centella. The texture is thick but I appreciate both the tube type and the naming because it is very smart. However, the moisturizing power is not strong enough to rebuild the skin barrier. It is good as an everyday moisturizer for dry skin, but if you need medicine for your skin in an emergency I will definitely choose the Illiyoon repair lotion instead."

"I know winter has come whenever this shows up at the top of the bestseller rankings, it sells every five seconds. My sister has hyper sensitive skin with atopic inflammation and can't use just any product, and this is her holy grail. It has zinc oxide from the mineral sunscreen content, so it leaves a white cast, but it also has madecassoside to calm your skin down. It's an all rounder, amazing moisturizer that heals and moisturizes at the same time, and I feel a lot better with it by morning. But some people, including close friends of mine, say it doesn't really work for them, it can feel oily outside but still dry underneath. So many people's holy grail, and for me it was okay too, but I want to say it's not for everyone, you better check it out for yourself."

"This cream is focused on repairing severe skin damage, promoting regeneration, and even anti-aging. It has five percent panthenol and ceramide, it's pretty thick and leaves a finish that feels like you applied oil, and it also contains titanium dioxide, the same ingredient found in mineral sunscreen, which can give your skin a bit of a white cast, so you actually have to apply it with a little force or it doesn't spread well. It's pretty recommended after acne treatment or a laser procedure, but if you have oily or acne prone skin you'll feel this is a bit too oily, so it's more recommended for dry and mature skin and atopic inflammation, for anyone who is really dry or really damaged."

"If your skin barrier is really damaged, so bad that whatever you put on it stings too much, try La Roche-Posay Cicaplast B5. It's more like an ointment, not a normal moisturizer, you have to melt it and pat it on, otherwise you get too much white cast and end up looking like a ghost. My sister is really sensitive, with a lot of eczema, and she always uses B5, especially in winter, so it's definitely working well for her. It's a barrier moisturizer, but it's more for severe, really really dry skin, not everyday use like Dr. Althea."

As a wintertime night serum it's okay for me, no problem, but some of the reviews say the packaging is leaking, so keep that in mind too."

"This one is popular with a lot of people, but that just means it's not really amazing and not really bad, it's just okay, nobody picked it as their best. If it's summer and you have normal skin you could just try it on. Except for me, nobody else on the team had used it before and I didn't even recognize it. Even though it has propolis it doesn't have a strong scent, it's a small bottle, but I didn't even finish it, which means I didn't really see that much difference. Yuna, who has drier skin than me, said it doesn't feel like it's working well for hydration. It's affordable, but nah."

"The rice and green tea glow serum is relatively light, which is fine for oily skin. It just makes my skin feel moisturized, but it doesn't last long, it wears off quickly. The size is also small, which is good for carrying around, but it's okay to use and I don't feel the need to buy it again since there are more affordable and better working versions out there."

"This became popular more outside of Korea, beauty influencers started this brand, so people are still a little skeptical, but once I tried it, it's pretty good. Compared to others it's definitely a heavier one, it becomes a little sticky and tacky. If you do your makeup after it, foundation sticks so well, I prefer it for makeup too. I'd never recommend using it with a cotton pad, just pat it onto your skin. A fellow makeup artist in her 20s with combo skin felt this was too stuffy for her, but if you have mature skin you'll like it."

"I recommend the d'Alba White Truffle First Spray Serum for normal to dry mature skin, it's not suitable for oily skin or summer, don't forget it's an oil. If you spray it more than three or four times and you have oily skin, it gets way too oily. I leave it in the bathroom and use it instead of toner, you can take care of your face and neck with it. Mist isn't a category I love, but it's effective in summer, spray it when your face is red and warm and it lowers your body temperature, and it's good preparation before makeup. It has a strong scent, and there are quite a few reviews of people getting a reaction to it, so keep that in mind."

"This one is also really popular outside of Korea and on TikTok. It was pretty good, better than I expected, not amazing, not really bad. It says it's a Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum, but I think they should erase that claim, I don't see the dark spots fading at all. They put in 5% niacinamide, which is supposed to make your skin overall brighter, but I didn't feel that way. The glow though, I totally agree with, whenever I apply it, it absorbs pretty quickly. I had my husband test it and he said it was okay because it's not sticky, it makes your overall skin condition pretty good. The manual says you can use it thicker as a sleeping mask, so I tried that and it worked well. If you have oily or combo skin you can use it on its own, and if you have dry skin I think it still works pretty good."

"I thought this was only temporarily popular, but people still mention it, it's like an aloe gel, very lightweight. This is a centella serum, so if you do well with centella and have sensitive, oily or combo skin that hates stickiness, you can try it out. It's okay, especially for oily skin, it has centella which definitely has a soothing effect, so if you have oily skin with minor breakouts and you're really sensitive, try this one. The texture is really light, like a light gel, but for my dry skin it just feels too light, so I just use it like a toner. Whenever my skin gets a little red, this one definitely cools it down."

"The number one serum is the Torriden Dive-In Serum. For my dry, mature skin, for women in their mid thirties and up, you could actually use this as a toner, it's just too watery and too lightweight, I don't feel anything from it. But if you're oily or combo skin, younger, in your twenties, this can definitely be a replacement, I cannot live without it. I tried it whenever I was about to break out and I saw the effect, I can guarantee it's a lot better for young skin, but it does have a bit of a scent, so keep that in mind."

"The last serum is the Torriden Dive-In Serum, they've been doing aggressive marketing in front of the Olive Young checkout line, you can't avoid it. The truth is it's pretty good, the texture is thicker than water but it absorbs so quickly into the skin. Originally hyaluronic acid can be a bit sticky and need time to smear into the skin, but they split the hyaluronic acid into five different types of molecules so it makes for a great finish that's not sticky at all. I highly recommend it for men, combination and oily skin, and teenagers, you guys will love it."

You wash your face, pat off the water, pump the essence, and massage your face with it like you're meditating. After five to seven minutes I can feel the grains on my fingers even though my skin doesn't have sebum, and when I wash it off with water the exfoliating is done. Sometimes nothing comes up, but after doing it I can definitely feel the texture become smoother and more hydrated inside. It's much more effective used as an exfoliating massage than just as a normal serum, so I highly recommend trying it that way."

"Between six different products I tested with three makeup artists including me, four people say this is the worst. I think it's the cheapest, don't buy this, don't buy this, too gray, too dark. It even oxidizes so the color becomes darker than it already is. When I went to wash my face, where I had applied this my pores looked huge, like I had put on matte foundation, it was not cute. If you have oily or combo skin and you're worried about pores, stay away, save your money."

"If you live in a tropical country and you are oily or combo skin, this is the most long lasting out of all eight cushions I tried, it just stays so well. But for me, dry mature skin with fine lines and wrinkles, it is too heavy, it has more powder in it than other cushion foundations, and around my eye area it is a disaster, too many lines show up and it feels too cakey. Even though I applied a tiny amount, the formula itself has a lot of powder in it, so for dry mature skin, stay out of it, it is not for me."

"This cushion has very clear pros and cons. It's a super high coverage cushion, almost like a concealer inside, and it's too heavy and too matte for my thin, dry skin, it made my pores and wrinkles more visible and got cakey and flaky by the afternoon. They say it's for all skin types but that's not true, it's really only for oily or combo skin. The longevity is insane though, six hours in with zero touch ups and just a little fading around the nose. If you need all day wear and high coverage and you're oily or combo skin with lots to hide, this is for you, but if you have thin skin with nothing major to cover, you can skip it. It has the most shade variety of any cushion I tried, so if you have a darker complexion it's a great one to start with, but go at least one or two shades lighter than your usual Korean cushion because it runs deeper and warmer than you'd expect."

"Everyone's buying the Biodance collagen mask and wearing it overnight for more than three hours, but I don't think it actually works that way. You put in that much effort and time, but the glow effect is so short term, and during those three hours your skin gets itchy and feels too stuffy. You can try it for fun, but I don't recommend it to my guests."

"This collagen mask has ampoules sealed inside, so you're supposed to leave it on overnight or at least three hours so the collagen really absorbs into your skin. It's definitely worth it right after you use it, but for three hours or even overnight of effort, I think the effect isn't that much, because after about an hour the radiance is just gone. I don't see that much point in it, and it's also expensive."

"You use this overnight for one, two, or three hours, and it's priced about double the other sheet masks. It's worth trying if you haven't, but I just don't like it. I don't end up using it much because you put in all this effort but the effect feels too short, and during the night it feels too stuffy and I just want to get rid of it. "This overnight mask is the hottest item out there right now, and it's a bit expensive, but I tried it head to head against a cheaper version and in conclusion I'll just buy the original. It has almost no scent, it stuck to my face well, and after twenty minutes my skin felt much more moisturized. Wearing it overnight is a bit annoying and stuffy since you have it on for so long, so I don't recommend it much if you have oily skin, but if you're over forty with mature skin it's amazing, and if you have dry skin you can use it weekly as a special treatment."

"This mask is so popular all over TikTok, I like it, but I think it's too nutritious for oily skin, I'd recommend it for normal to dry skin, and if you're over forty it's pretty good, it's good as a gift for your mother too. But it's a different type of mask so keep a few things in mind, it doesn't stick well and drips down so you have to lie down to use it, and it says to leave it on for more than three hours so there's really no choice but to do it while sleeping. Be careful because your nails can tear it when you put it on, and if you want that super glowy look, don't just use the mask alone, it doesn't work that way, you have to do your full routine, serum, moisturizer, then apply this and go to bed. In the morning it really does seal everything in, like a sealing wrap. I woke up more than five times because I felt stuffy sleeping in it. It's a good option for long flights, and it's a bit expensive, I'd recommend doing it every ten days to two weeks, like treating yourself to a facial."

"I'd give this a 1.5 hydration level, pretty similar to the other one. Compared to western products, Korean products are usually more mild, so I didn't see that much miracle from this one. But even though the name is like a pretty aggressive miracle toner, it's more appealing to many people, which means it's pretty safe."

"This has AHA, BHA and PHA in it, so if you react to one of those it's not good, be careful if you have sensitive skin. It's pretty strong at first, but your face gets used to it kind of quickly. I kind of like it, I pair it with western products. It's gentle enough for regular exfoliation. It's very smart to call it the 30 Days Miracle Toner, because 30 days is the cycle for your skin to make new cells, though the results are temporary. You can also use it on your body if you get pimples around your chest or back. For my dry, mature skin I'm not going to use it, but it's a well-made product."

"This one is pretty popular too, a little less affordable than the Toko toner. It became popular on social media because it's an AHA toner, which isn't that common in K-beauty, that's more of a Paula's Choice or Western brand thing, and it's a really watery toner. But it smells so strong, so minty, like an old man's cosmetic. Even though you're just putting this on, it gets rid of some dead skin cells. If you're sensitive or have a lot of redness, skip it, it's not for you. But if you're combo or dry skin, try this. I use a cotton pad made of rayon, thinner than a regular cotton pad, so you get more product on it even with a small amount. Gently wipe your entire face with the cotton pad, then leave it on your nose, and you can effectively and gently exfoliate doing this for about five minutes."

"This is one of my holy grails for winter, the I'm From Honey Mask, though it's a bit more hassle since you put it on with a spatula, leave it for an hour, and then wash it off. It smells like real honey. They recently changed the bottle to a tube and made it a little cheaper, so it's even better now."

"This wash off Honey Mask separates into layers so you have to mix it all together, which is a bit of a hassle since you have to leave it on for ten minutes to an hour before it locks down. Compared to a sheet mask it's so effective, it's great as a gift for moms, it's very slippery, and when you wash it off it doesn't feel like it isn't rinsing well. I recommend putting it on right before a shower, about thirty minutes before, then rinsing it off in the shower, and you'll see your skin a lot more plump. But for oily, combo skin, not really, it's too heavy. I like this a lot better than their mugwort bath, which I also use a lot with clients, that one is only ten minutes, it cools the skin down and afterward I can literally see the redness going down. They recently changed the packaging though, now it only comes in the tube type with a bit less product."

"This is real honey, it smells really like honey, so be careful if you're allergic or just don't like the scent, because you apply it for anywhere from ten minutes to an hour, so it can be a little burdensome. But I kind of like it because I can put it on before the shower and wash it off after thirty or forty minutes. The mask is heavy so it locks down hydration and plumps your skin after you wash it off. Because of the honey it still feels slippery afterward, like it's not washing off well, so make sure to wipe it off with a toner pad or it gets sticky and goes all over your hair. It's definitely worth the hype, I'd recommend it if you're dry or mature skin and looking for a good hydrating product."

"I like to wear this wash off mask before I take a shower so I can rinse it off in the shower, killing two birds with one stone. I do it once or twice a week, leave it on for ten minutes, and it rinses off easily. It has a strong honey scent, the texture is honey like, and my face gets warm when I apply it, you're supposed to massage it in a little but it still gets warm even if you leave it alone. For dry skin, especially in winter, I like this honey one, it makes my face brighten and moisturized."

"I love this so much, these are all my empties, eight bottles. I use this as the first step after cleansing. It feels like aloe gel mixed with mugwort grains, leave it on for five to ten minutes and wash it off and it immediately lowers the heat, the redness disappears. If you do it in the morning it's effective for waking you up because it's cold. It has a kind of strong earthy scent, not bad for me. One thing I didn't like is that I go through it too quickly, I wish they'd make a bigger bottle."

"I reviewed the Medicube Collagen Wrapping Mask before and tried it again for this video. I checked the bad reviews first, people saying give me my money back, not worth the money. When I tried it myself it is pretty pricey and really runny, hard to apply on your face, so you have to leave it on overnight. After a few minutes it started to feel itchy and irritating and stuffy, and by morning it was already too dried out. I would never recommend it for oily or acne prone skin, it can clog the pores and a lot of reviews say it breaks them out. The only good thing is you get that glass skin look for photos or TikTok, but removing it is so painful, it sticks all over and gets nasty, so I recommend washing your face right after."

"After I wipe it off, my skin feels a lot better, more bouncy and much more hydrated, but I think I'm not going to use it anymore because it takes too long and isn't worth that much effort. Whenever you apply it, it's too sticky and too watery, so it ends up all over your fingers, and after twenty minutes it just peels off, that's trash. Even right before bed I just wanted to get rid of it, and it still felt stuffy and dried out by morning. I think they wanted to make something like a Biodance overnight mask, but this one fails because the mask isn't easy to wipe off like rice paper, it's just everywhere, so I ended up washing it out. It is hydrating, but I think the procedure is too long, I'd rather just do an overnight mask."

"Compared to the other eye cream I'll give this one the better point, because Beauty of Joseon's has retinol and is very lightweight. If you're worried about milia, or you're in your early twenties just starting to use eye cream, this is going to be an amazing, great, and affordable option."

Compared to older, heavier eye creams in a jar that feel like a chore to use, this one is light and absorbs pretty quickly, so it's easy to use and affordable. It does have a little retinal in it so it makes it a little tight for me, but I think they made the eye cream easy to use, and I think it's worth it. Anybody who's lazy, even in their early 20s, can try out this one for an eye cream."

"Beauty of Joseon's eye cream I think became popular because the texture isn't too heavy, the color is light, and the scent isn't strong so it's easy to apply. It has retinal in it so it can feel a little tightening. I would pick this one."

"The eye cream is also popular, but for me it was just okay. A lot of people mention issues with the pump, mine works fine but some people's don't. Eye creams can often be too heavy or too sticky, but this one is a lot more lightweight, easy to use, and absorbs quickly, so it's good for oily skin if you don't want something too heavy. It has retinal in it, so some people can feel a little burning, but other than that it kind of didn't live up to the hype for me."

"The Anua serums, the red and peach ones, are so popular online, though you actually can't buy them in Korea because of the law, I even buy mine from overseas. I'd say they're okay, you can try them once, but they're not a product I really, really recommend. The PDRN percentage is really low, more like a hyaluronic acid serum, and while people expect PDRN to be anti-aging and lifting, this one is very lightweight, more for everyday use in oily combo tropical weather."

"This one is great for traveling, a little lighter, though it's a bit fishy and artificial smelling since it's from salmon. In Korea's summer humidity of 40 to 50 percent I like this one better, it's not watery but lighter than the bottle serum. If you're oily combo skin and it's summer, this one is pretty good and still gets your skin hydrated, it goes in more quickly and feels more lightweight."

"This PDRN serum contains hyaluronic acid, collagen and glutathione, but comparing it to other PDRN serums, Anua has the least amount of PDRN, only about 100 ppm, while others have three to four thousand. The texture is slightly oily and tacky, so oily or combo skin should only use it at night, while dry skin can use it daily. If you expect lifting, it doesn't really do that, it's more just a hydrating serum. It's too light for dry, mature skin over 40, and a bit thick for oily skin. Overall this Anua product is not my favorite, but it's nothing amazing and nothing bad, which is probably why it became a bestseller, and if you're in your 20s or 30s you could try it casually."

"This contains 100 PPM of PDRN, which is one hundredth of what's in Medicube. At this level, claiming it contains PDRN is more of a marketing strategy, it's essentially just a hyaluronic acid serum. It's the most lightweight of the five serums, better for oily and combo skin. It's okay, but I don't want to repurchase it, because we have so many options when it comes to hyaluronic acid serum."

"This has the highest hydration level of all sixteen moisturizers I tested, but it feels almost like Vaseline. I cannot understand why people love this. If you have oily combo skin you will really hate it, it just feels like putting on Vaseline. It has a thick, occlusive texture but I do not feel like it is actually moisturizing on the inside. It is just a viral product, so if you only listen to one thing from me, save your money and skip this one. It is the worst of all the products I tried."

"I have dry skin, but whenever I put this on my skin it literally feels like putting honey on my skin, so sticky, and it doesn't absorb well. The formulation is heavy but it is not effective enough to change the skin. You can only use it at night because of the texture, not for oily or combo skin, only for very dry skin in winter, and only if you don't toss and turn too much in your sleep, because even an hour after applying it, it still feels like honey, very sticky, so it ends up all over the pillow."

"Between the global spicule serum and this one, I'm going to pick this one. It's a bit more spicy than the other but it doesn't last as long, but I definitely like it more because I can feel a little more tightening, and I put it here and around the eye area too. Because of the little spicy tingle it also makes the skin pretty moisturized. If you're older than me, over 40, just try it out, but if you have sensitive skin be careful, it can make thin or red-prone skin more red. Also don't use it together with retinol or vitamin C, that's too many actives at once, use it on a different day."

"The VT Reedle Shot isn't for everyday and it's not for everybody, it's more like a treat you use rarely, not for beginners who don't have their skincare routine down. It's not really a new concept, the tiny needles remove dead skin cells so your moisturizer penetrates better, and it comes in different strength levels. If you have rosacea, eczema, sensitive skin, or atopic inflammation it's going to make you worse, so please patch test before you try it. For me it was just a little tickle, so I'd start low at the lowest level, and don't use it together with retinol, vitamin C, or other beauty devices because that's too much stimulus for your skin. After you use it, it leaves tiny scars on your skin so you have to seal it with a moisturizer afterward. I don't recommend it to my students, but if you have oily skin and care a lot about your pores, or you have an important event and want your makeup to sit really well, it makes sense to use it for a short period. They also sent me a new version with PDRN, red tea, and collagen added, and their influencer marketing is amazing, but it's so heavy."

"This makes tiny holes with small needles, which tightens your pores and makes your skin more elastic, but it's not like a normal serum, why would you make micro scars on your skin every day. If you have sensitive skin or redness, be careful. It's a super big hit all over the world, but I'm not a fan of this concept because I have redness and it feels like too much to use every day. I'd say this is a C, but if you love it you can try it out, I'm just not a fan of it, sorry."

"VT Reedle Shot is this year's K-beauty superstar, it's based on the principle of causing a slight wound to the skin so active ingredients can penetrate deeper. There are a few types, 50, 100, and 300, the most famous is 100 and that's the one I tried, the bigger the number the stronger it is. I don't use this, my face stings, itches, and the redness got worse. If you have thin skin, atopic dermatitis, inflammation, or melasma, never use it. I got more negatives than positives from it. For people with thick skin and big pores, I'd recommend starting from the 50."

"The good thing about this one is that now when you buy it they give you a little shimmery pot you can use as a base eyeshadow, and it has a lot of lighter shades. If you use the lighter colors this way, it's great, because you can even use them as a blush too."

"In Olive Young the best selling Eyeshadow Palette this year was WAKEMAKE, but I feel it has too many colors, I'm not going to use them all, and it's actually too pinky for beginners. Still, these beige brown colors I can even use on my guy students who want to learn makeup because it never looks like too much, it's very affordable, and the colors work pretty well."

I don't only use it at night, I put it on everywhere, every two hours, because it's super moisturizing, which is very important if your lips have too many lines and are too dry to put anything else on."

"This one is really meaningful to me, I don't usually rebuy the same product since new stuff always comes out, but this is amazing. If I have a client I start with this using a Q-tip, that's step one, everyone's lips are so dry. I tried Vaseline and other stick type lip balms and they dried my lips out. Because of the name you'd think it's only for nighttime, but you can put it on during the day and reapply after a couple hours and it works so well. After you finish your lips you can add a little on top as a top coat and it also works like a lip gloss. It's worth the hype."

"It's totally safe, totally fine to use. Even on my hundred day old baby I tried it out, no problem at all. I have more dry, mature skin and we have a really brutal winter here in Korea, so it's totally fine for me to use it. But if you have acne prone skin, more oily, and you're suffering from breakouts, I don't really recommend it that much because it can clog your pores and make it too oily, so please keep that in mind. It doesn't have any nutrition in it by itself, so you always have to use it with something active, at least a moisturizer, and use it as the last step of your skincare, not on its own."

"Vaseline is a great item, but not many people know how to use it properly. It works as a moisturizing film that traps moisture in the skin, but it doesn't drag water in on its own, so with just Vaseline alone your skin can't be amazing, you need something like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C or retinol to bring moisture in first and then Vaseline seals it in, so your fine lines get sufficiently straightened and your skin gets more plump. It's not great for everybody though, if you have oily or acne prone skin you don't even need it, it's going to be too oily and clog your pores and make your blackheads and whiteheads worse. I only use a very small amount, melt it on my palm, and press it onto my face, especially a little more on the dry smile lines and eye bags, and I only use it in the evening because during the day you want makeup or sunscreen and Vaseline is thick and heavy so it can make your makeup melt. It has a similar key ingredient to a four hundred dollar luxury cream but costs two or three dollars. Since I have dry skin, if I seal with Vaseline I feel a little sticky the next day, so I highly recommend washing without cleansing foam in the morning."

"I think it's a good idea to use Vaseline first if you're thinking about fine lines and want younger, good skin, Vaseline is the answer. It protects your skin and keeps moisture from evaporating, and if you apply it consistently for about two weeks to a month you can feel the dryness inside get better and your fine lines disappear. Vaseline is like three or four bucks, but if you use it well it's a product that's worth millions of dollars, especially for people like me, it's the best for those with thin, fine lines and dry skin. If you have oily skin you don't need it, it could make things worse, and if you're allergic to petroleum derived products and you break out or get itchy after using it, just stop, it's not for you."
