"Dermalogica is what we use in Aesthetics all the time. This is the Stabilizing Repair Cream. This actually has Pro-ceramides and shea. Look at how textured that is. [...] It's literally [...] like squeezable butter for your skin, and this is just so amazing. For me on a day-to-day basis this is way too thick, but I can use this at night on my oily-prone skin almost like a night mask and it works so well because I wake up with the most hydrated, supple skin. But for someone with dry skin, this could be perfect to use every single day, especially if you have more mature skin. This has those ceramides that really help replenish that outer layer of your skin barrier."

"This is the Dermalogica Stabilizing Repair Cream. It has a ceramide building complex with pro-ceramides and cica, plus that ceramide building complex, so it has ceramides in it but it also promotes your skin to naturally produce more ceramides. Ceramides make up over half of the outer layer of our skin, it's basically what helps us waterproof ourselves so our skin needs to make sure it's protecting us. But as we get older, or if we have dry skin, or if we're sick and stressed, as well as many other things, our skin can stop producing those ceramides or it can decrease that production, and if we can give it a helping hand, phenomenal. Do you see how this tents up? Oh my gosh, this feels like whipped butter, it's a little bit lighter so I would describe it as whipped butter, and I absolutely love this one, it's one of my favorites. It melts into skin so smooth but it does feel like whipped butter on the skin. This is a great choice if you are looking for something that estheticians recommend and that is a little bit more clinical, but again it is a little bit on the pricier side."
