Soft Wash Complete Daily Cleanser.

"This particular cleanser I've been trying recently is the one by Dr. Idriss, her new Soft Wash Complete Daily Cleanser. I can do a single cleanse on most of my face, neck, and decollete, and then I come in with a second cleanse just around my mascara and makeup area, and it rinses beautifully."

"Soft Wash Complete Daily Cleanser, they call it a gentle jelly cleanser. It's like a traditional cleanser texture but a little bit thicker, and this really doesn't have much of a foam despite feeling like your typical cleanser. But it is so good at removing makeup, sunscreen, whilst not feeling like an oily cleanser, which doesn't surprise me because I know Dr. Idriss isn't a fan of the oil cleansing stage. This contains poloxamer, which they say is a mild cleansing agent, and you find this in things like contact lens solution. So if you've got makeup or sunscreen around your eyes, you can't really just get in there with this cleanser and rinse away, but it does a very, very, very effective job. There are a lot of cleansers that claim they can double cleanse and take a bit of time to do that first initial cleanse, but this just does such a great job at doing that cleanse without being oily, which I'm just really impressed by. And then of course the second cleanse does an amazing job too. This has just become my daily go-to because it's easy to reach for, it's a one and done kind of thing, it doesn't dry out my skin, it's very, very gentle on the skin."

"This is one of the only cleansers that is genuinely so good at both steps of the double cleanse, it doesn't foam but it really gently washes away layers of sunscreen and makeup, and it has a cleansing agent in it that is actually found in contact lens solution so you can actually use it on your eyes without it stinging and burning. "For me, the way I take off my makeup, I use my [...] Soft Wash on my face when my skin is dry. I warm it up with water and then I apply it to my face, and then I take a wet washcloth and work it in around my eyes. The reason I use this is because I can open my eyes while I wash my face, which is key, and I don't have time to do a million steps at night, so no tears come out of this. It's one of the best washes because I've really worked the hardest to formulate a cleanser that I can open my eyes with. If you're somebody who wears hardcore makeup, you probably do need something to break up your makeup, but this is the most I wear and this is what I use on dry skin at night."

"I put a nice dime size amount in my hand [...] and I warm it up with a little bit of water, then I go on my face dry and massage it into my face completely dry. I take a washcloth, wet it, and after I've massaged it in I use that to get everything off, and then I splash. It's amazing, it's amazing, it's amazing. The biggest thing in it is called poloxamer, which is also found in contact lens solutions, and it also has a surfactant that is non-stripping that marries oil to water, so that's why it makes it a good one to remove the makeup. It's glycerin loaded so it's obviously hydrating. There's no fragrance, it is cruelty free, fragrance free. The pH of the cleanser [...] is 5 to 5.5, which is the ideal range for a cleanser because you want to be slightly acidic so that you maintain your skin barrier intact, so it's not going to cause you to burn, break out, it's not going to breed bacteria on your skin, it's not going to dry you out, and it's not going to cause you to get oilier. [...] It's been clinically tested. We did a clinical study in which they used a VISIA scanner with people wearing either sunscreen or makeup, had them wash their face, and took pictures of their faces right after, and it was shown to remove it all, which is amazing."
