"I've been recommending the Radiant Tone Collection from Eucerin, which uses an ingredient called thiamidol. It acts along the same pathway as hydroquinone, but you can use it on all skin types, and it hasn't been shown to be toxic to the melanocytes the way hydroquinone is, so you can use it continuously. It comes with a gentle exfoliating cleanser with AHAs, a serum you use morning and night, a morning sunscreen with broad spectrum SPF 30, and a night cream, so they've covered their bases pretty well with that regimen. It's sometimes cheaper to get over the counter and I've seen actually really good results with it. I'm very happy with this line.
