What the gurus are saying

The serum's molasses-like hydrating texture impresses with its blend of peptides and botanical oils, especially appealing for those with dry skin or those healing after procedures like microneedling. However, some reviewers find the price steep and balk at the fragrance, and despite the strong ingredient list, opinions split on whether these benefits justify the cost. Not all find it essential.

"This has that same hydrating feeling as the snail serum, like molasses. [...] There's also peptides in here, this triple peptide blend, and squalane, which is good for dry skin. [...] I'm going to be buying this for sure, and it's so affordable. I just love that texture, that snail mucin thing. [...] There are so many alternatives to snail mucin now from plants and things like that which have a similar texture, deeply hydrating. So hydrating, I'm buying that, done and dusted."

"Again they're trying to remind you, if you have oilier or acne-prone skin, this product is probably not going to be for you. [...] I have a lot of products I love, and this just wasn't one of them, it was just a miss. Honestly, after this review I probably wouldn't, I don't see myself ever reaching for it again. There's a lot of products I like enough to finish them, there's even fewer I like enough to finish and repurchase. [...] But for a product that doesn't even make me want to finish it, it's not bad, it just didn't do anything for me. [...] Too shiny, don't like the scent, didn't really offer enough exciting beneficial ingredients for me. But a lot of people love it, if you look at the reviews people love this stuff. I don't know if they're saying it because they got it for free or what, or if they really love it, but a lot of people love it. So I'm not always right, but that's just my personal experience with it."

"I'm not loving the fragrance in this but it's not strong and I have a feeling it will dissipate quickly but it is in there. [...] This stuff's expensive but it's got a lot of good ingredients in here. It's got a ton of peptides, it's got an antioxidant called ornithine, [...] olive fruit oil, soybean oil, shea butter, sunflower seed oil and then all the good peptides. It's supposed to be a restorative product similar to peptide growth serums. [...] It's got a creamy texture to it. After I had micro needling done about a week ago, I used this one a lot along with other serums to help my skin heal up from that."
