"This is the Mary&May Vegan Blackberry Complex Cream Essence, and I actually would give this a heart eye emoji now. I finished it up and I really enjoyed using it. It's got a really nice balancing quality to it, and I can see this working for a lot of different skin types."

"This is my number one pick. It's actually one of the first Mary&May products, maybe the very first one I ever tried, and it definitely was one that I enjoyed when I first used it, but it slowly grew on me into something I've come to really love and appreciate. The key ingredient here is of course the blackberry, but it also has fig extract, which is a new one, that's going to have some antioxidants but it's actually one of those ingredients that has a nice hydrating capability, kind of like when it's in skincare it has a light plumping action to it, similar to hyaluronic acid, which we also have in here as sodium hyaluronate. We also have ceramide NP as well as jojoba oil. The key benefits of this product are balancing hydration and moisture in one product, and you'll know what I mean when you see the texture. It's actually a biphase essence, so we have this purple hydrating portion, that's where all the hyaluronic acid and the fig extract are, and it's very very replenishing and hydrating and watery, but then we have this creamy layer as well."

"This is a really fun essence product. It's a dual layer essence. We have a hydrating antioxidant based watery portion with the blackberry complex, but then we have this creamy milky kind of layer as well that's meant to really help nourish the skin, and the fun part of it is mixing it all together. Part of the reason I was resistant to this product is because I just always saw it as an imitator of the Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence, which I probably named as a favorite in the best of 2021 video, but as I often say, what's inside of the bottle is what counts. It's very balancing, that's such a great word for it, very balancing between the hydration and the moisture layers. It feels really good, hydrating, comforting, it sinks into the skin so nicely. Don't be afraid of that creamy element, I think it still layers nicely with other products you might want to use in your skincare routine. There's an elegance to the formulation here that is so nice, and Mary and May's really been growing on me as a brand."
