Protect Tint Daily SPF Tint.

"The sunscreen I've been using the most recently has been doubling as base makeup as well, from Supergoop, their Protect Tint Daily SPF Tint. We've had tinted sunscreens before, it was always either a very neutral tint which would make it more blendable into a wider range of skin tones, or heavy coverage opaque, basically zinc oxide paste with pigment. Supergoop Protect Tint really is just a sheer tint, but also it is not greasy, it's not oily. In fact the kind of finish it leaves on my skin is a slightly blurred, skin perfecting one, it dries down to kind of a velvety natural finish, but it won't mattify an existing glow. These are so sheer that actually a couple of shades work for me, but the ones I use the most are 22W and 24N. This is mainly zinc oxide, but it uses a combination of mineral and chemical UV filters, which is the kind I like the most. This is buildable but still remains a nice tint. This is light coverage at best, and that is really important to me because [...] I actually like to apply my sunscreen in two light thinner layers rather than one big globby one."

"I know it is just a tint, but I think sometimes tints can come up too orangey. On my skin, for example, and fairer skin tones, they can come up quite orangey. For me, I would probably go 22W or 24N. I'm a lot paler than I believe I am. So we have some warms, some neutrals, some cools. This would be interesting. The price point to me is a bit of a turn off. It's $44 each, and they're quite small. [...] With tinted SPF, will you have to keep reapplying it? Is it long wearing? For me, that's a high price for a small tub of SPF. And I love Supergoop. I like their SPFs. Not all of them. A lot of them."
